The Iron League of Chicago
The Iron League of Chicago is a not-for-profit trade association that represents the metal fabricating industry in the Chicago area. Incorporated in 1932, ILOC includes manufacturers, erectors and suppliers.
The Iron League of Chicago provides important benefits to employers of Local #63 ironworkers. ILOC provides members with current business information, provides resources regarding labor and employee relations, and assists in negotiating and executing Local #63 contracts. Along with union trustees, ILOC sits on and oversees the administration of health and welfare and pension funds.

IRON LEAGUE OF CHICAGO MEMBERS
ILOC Membership is comprised of
two categories.
​
A Regular Member is any corporation, firm, partnership or individual proprietor engaged in the construction industry and/or in the fabrication and/or erection of metal products.
​
An Associate Member is any corporation, firm, partnership or individual proprietor providing raw materials (including prime metals) and/or services, other than erection and/or installation, to the metal fabricating industry. Supplier Members may not be elected to serve as President, Vice President or Secretary-Treasurer.
COLLEGE
SCHOLARSHIPS
Through the affiliated Architectural Ironworker Industry Advancement Fund, the Iron League of Chicago awards scholarships to deserving college students every year.

Children of active Ironworkers Local 63 workers and children of employees of companies that employ Ironworkers Local 63 workers are eligible to apply for scholarships.
MEMBER
BENEFITS
The most important benefit that ILOC Members receive is the ability to collectively bargain with the union. In addition to bargaining, ILOC hosts seminars that cover current and important aspects of the industry.

ILOC Members receive reduced or comped rates at ILOC events.
​
ILOC Members are eligible to apply for reimbursement of select educational expenses.
​
ILOC Members have access to the ILOC Safety Program.
